*Obviously a late post :)
We changed how we spent the Holidays. For the past years, our schedule was something like this: 24th – early dinner with my in-laws, Dinner at my paternal grandparents’ house, midnight mass with my family, and wait for the clock to strike 12mn while eating Noche Buena at my parents’. 25 – Stay in Malabon in the morning, lunch at my maternal grandparents’ house, merienda at my parent’s house, visit Daday and Sherwin, Christmas night with friends or cousins.
For 2010, we had lunch at my maternal grandparents’, visited K’s Ninang Daday, early dinner with my ILs, join the rest of my dad’s siblings and families after dinner, midnight mass. My mom forgone the Noche Buena so we went home after mass. We waited for 12mn at home.
The next day, lunch was with my mom’s siblings and families in Regency. We got there just in time for lunch since we could not leave Malabon right away. We spent the day eating, playing Kinect, playing silly games and getting simple game prizes. Here are some photos taken by my cousin:
It was different but meaningful because we got to spend time with people who really matter.
