I’ve said it many times over that little Klaire has become too clingy to me. For the past few days however, I noticed that her demand has leveled-up. I have to be within eye sight and reach once night time arrives until she settles into dreamland, like she has an internal alarm clock to remind her that it’s 6pm! Yes, this unwritten rule also applies even if I just need to answer nature’s call for a few minutes. She would bawl and scream. This means I cannot leave for whatever reason even if her father or Aiza or any of my brothers is around to be with her. And I also have to make sure that she’s in deep slumber before I can move and start working. Otherwise, when she rolls to my side of the bed and she can’t feel me, she would promptly cry.
This set-up sounds inconvenient. Because it means there will be no more trips to the coffee shop with friends or LFS movie dates with the husband for the meantime.
But I am not complaining, not at all. I’m just saying that my social life will have to take a back seat for now (or choose to unwind when the sun is still up, LOL). I actually dread the day when K will not look for me anymore. I am enjoying my time with her as much as I can, while it lasts! :D
